Focus on understanding - youth dialogs on the Middle East conflict
In the project “Focus on Understanding – Youth Dialogues on the Middle East Conflict”, educational experts with Jewish and Muslim backgrounds conduct dialogs with young people about current events in the Middle East and the related situation in Germany. This creates spaces in which young people can think about questions of identity, belonging and self-perception and the perception of others and reflect on these in an exchange with others.
"You shape Politics" – Experiencing Democracy, Taking Responsibility!
In our project “You shape Politics!”, young people with migration backgrounds learn to engage with social and individual challenges. Through the simulation of various forms of government and challenges such as resource scarcity and democratic deficits, we promote an understanding of globalization, technological developments, and the relationship between citizens and the state. Practical exercises and workshops provide participants with valuable experiences that strengthen awareness of individual responsibility as citizens in Germany and encourage critical reflection.
