Who we are

AVP has been dedicated to charitable work since 2002. With offices in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Halle, Hamburg and Hanover, we are active in the fields of education, democracy promotion and humanitarian aid. We are committed to a cosmopolitan and tolerant society in which it is possible to live together in solidarity. We are committed to social justice, democratic values and human rights through a variety of projects.

In close cooperation with regional institutions, associations and political decision-makers, we implement offers for young people, families and professionals throughout Germany. We contribute to cohesion and equal opportunities in our society by taking action and consistently focusing on the needs of our target groups.

The faces behind AVP

Our team

Over 100 dedicated professionals from the fields of social work, education, psychology and political science form the backbone of AVP e.V.. For them, this work is not only a professional task, but also an opportunity to stand up for an open and democratic society. Our aim is to promote diversity within our team and to utilize the individual strengths and experiences of employees from different walks of life, cultural backgrounds and generations. The diversity of our employees is an essential resource for the successful implementation of our tasks.

Innovative solutions for current challenges

The desire to implement innovative and needs-oriented projects is crucial to the development of the AVP. We focus on current social needs and challenges and develop creative solutions, concepts and methods in the areas of education, youth welfare, democracy promotion and humanitarian aid. In doing so, we rely on dialog and constructive exchange with our partners and sponsors.
