Addressing the Staff Shortage

In recent months, the AVP daycare center and family center “Tannenhof” has been able to expand and further strengthen its team.

Currently, 25 educational and non-educational staff members work daily in our daycare center. In addition to 17 qualified educational professionals, many others actively support everyday life at the center. Two trainees, one specialist in the recognition year, and one specialist in the first year of training work together with a daycare assistant and a participant in the Voluntary Social Year program to support the group teams.

There is also a great deal of work outside the group settings. Our wonderful kitchen team prepares meals for the children every day and assists with all necessary household tasks. And of course, they always make sure that coffee for our colleagues never runs out. In addition, our caretaker works hard to keep both our building and outdoor areas in excellent condition. The necessary financial management is handled by our in-house accountant, who supports us in all financial matters.

We are very pleased that our team has grown so significantly and that we have been able to actively counter the staff shortages of recent years.
