“Sicher engagiert” is now part of the database of actors maintained by Das NETTZ. By joining the nationwide network, the project is further expanding its visibility and connections in the field of digital democracy promotion.
Das NETTZ’s database of actors brings together organisations, projects and experts from German-speaking countries that work against hate speech and for democratic coexistence in the digital space. The platform highlights a wide range of services and expertise – from counselling and education to monitoring, counter-speech and deradicalisation.
With the inclusion of “sicher engagiert”, the project’s work is now also visible through this central networking platform, making it easier to find for interested individuals, organisations and potential cooperation partners.
Connecting Digital Democracy Promotion Nationwide
For “sicher engagiert”, joining the database is another step towards expanding a nationwide network. The project combines democracy promotion with the challenges of the digital space and supports efforts to make democratic engagement safe, effective and capable of action under digital conditions.
“The aim of ‘sicher engagiert’ is to establish itself as a leading nationwide project in the field of digital democracy promotion. In addition to professional work, networking with other actors, initiatives and organisations therefore plays a central role,” says project manager Michael Bücker.
“Being included in Das NETTZ’s database of actors not only increases the project’s visibility, but also opens up new opportunities for professional exchange, cooperation and joint activities.”
Together for a Democratic Digital Space
Das NETTZ sees its database as a point of contact for people and organisations seeking support, information or expertise in dealing with hate speech and related challenges. Filters by topic, region and expertise, as well as an interactive map, make it possible to find suitable actors and services.
