Strengthening Fathers – Supporting Families – Shaping the Future Together!

An important exchange on active fatherhood: On October 13, 2026, the Fathers’ Forum took place at the House of Cultures in Düsseldorf.

The focus was on how fathers can be involved in their children’s upbringing and development from an early stage and in a sustainable way. During a panel discussion, fathers shared their experiences and perspectives and discussed challenges and possible solutions together with professionals.

At a marketplace of opportunities, fathers and families could also learn about various counselling and support services. AVP Family Counselling was also represented with its multilingual services.

The dialogue continues: On November 28, 2026, another professional event will take place focusing on digital media use, hate speech and the early involvement of fathers.

Together for fatherhood initiatives that empower fathers, support families and create new perspectives!
