Teachers from “Alpha” at the Teacher Forum in Berlin

At the beginning of May, a teacher forum was held in Berlin dedicated to modern methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language and working with bilingual children. The event presented educational materials developed by teachers and specialists working with children across Europe.

Teachers from the educational center “Alpha” also took part in the forum. They had the opportunity to personally meet the authors of the teaching materials, analyze the presented methods, and discuss practical aspects of their application in lessons with children of different age groups.

The main goal of the trip was not only to become familiar with the materials, but also to evaluate them directly on site in order to select the most suitable textbooks according to the needs of our center and our students.

Following the forum, a complete set of teaching materials was selected for all age groups — from preschool children to students of the 10th grade. This will allow us to expand our educational programs and open new groups for bilingual children as well as for children learning Russian as a foreign language.

We sincerely thank the organizers of the forum for the opportunity to meet the authors of the teaching methods and discover modern educational materials.
