Strengthening German-American-Ukrainian Cooperation within the UkraineHilfe Düsseldorf
Project
In early March, the President and CEO of the American humanitarian organization United Help
Ukraine, Ms. Maryna Baydyuk, visited Düsseldorf on a working trip. During an intensive ten-day
program, meetings were held with partners of the UkraineHilfe Düsseldorf project, warehouse
facilities were inspected, and discussions took place on the future priorities of humanitarian
assistance to Ukraine.
During the visit, official talks were held at Düsseldorf City Hall, as well as meetings with the
Minister for Economic Affairs of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Mona Neubaur, and the
Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, Oleksii Makeiev. In addition, working meetings with partner
organizations took place in Cologne and Berlin. The focus was on expanding cooperation,
preparing further aid shipments to Ukrainian cities, and implementing joint projects in the field of
medical rehabilitation and professional support for specialists.
An important part of the program was the organization of a forum of German-Ukrainian
organizations and volunteer initiatives involved in the delivery of humanitarian aid. Participants
discussed the coordination of joint activities, the exchange of experience, and the further
strengthening of cooperation between organizations from Germany, the United States, and
Ukraine.
The UkraineHilfe Düsseldorf project sincerely thanks all partners, public institutions, volunteers,
and supporters who make our work possible every day and contribute to helping Ukraine.
Together, we will continue to implement our humanitarian initiatives reliably and effectively.
