New AVP e.V. family café: exchange and advice in a cozy atmosphere

Starting immediately, AVP e.V. offers a special program for families in Düsseldorf every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM: the Family Café at the youth club premises located at Karlstraße 2. Families are warmly invited to meet, connect, and receive support in a relaxed atmosphere—all completely free of charge.

The Family Café is designed for both parents and children. While parents have the opportunity to receive counseling or participate in practical workshops, children can enjoy a lovingly designed play area with attentive supervision. This program creates a space where parents can focus on their needs while their children are well cared for.

AVP e.V.’s counseling services are diverse and tailored to the needs of families. Whether it’s parenting advice, managing daily challenges, or addressing specific family issues, experienced counselors are available for personal consultations to provide individual support. The counseling is accessible and uncomplicated, ensuring families can quickly and easily receive help without lengthy waiting times.

In addition to counseling, the Family Café offers regular workshops designed to support parents in their daily lives. These workshops cover a wide range of topics—from practical parenting tips and creative crafting sessions to health and nutrition discussions. The content of the workshops is flexible and adapted to the wishes and needs of participating families, creating a program directly aligned with their realities and offering concrete support for everyday life.

The Family Café is not just a place for counseling but also an important meeting point for parents to connect. Here, parents can meet other families, exchange experiences, and support one another in a casual atmosphere. This exchange is especially valuable for feeling less alone amidst the often-hectic demands of family life.

For families interested in learning more about the Family Café or participating, there’s an additional option: a WhatsApp group where families can stay informed about upcoming dates and topics and connect with others.

The Family Café by AVP e.V. is a valuable addition to family life in Düsseldorf. It provides a safe and welcoming space where both parents and children can find support. All families are warmly invited to join every Wednesday and discover this wonderful opportunity for themselves.
