Visit of U.S. Consul General Preeti V. Shah to UkraineHilfe Düsseldorf

During the summer holidays, UkraineHilfe Düsseldorf focused on a school furniture initiative. Together with the Office for Schools and Education of the City of Düsseldorf, we were able to collect school furniture from 35 Düsseldorf primary schools and organize its transportation to six regions of Ukraine. Following the successful completion of this major humanitarian initiative, U.S. Consul General for North Rhine-Westphalia Preeti V. Shah visited us to congratulate our team and express her support.

Together with Dr. Maryna Baydyuk, President and Executive Director of United Help Ukraine, and AVP e. V. Managing Directors Sergej Aruin and Matthias Foks, we reviewed the results of the school furniture initiative and reported on our trip to Chernivtsi. The Consul General had already supported this initiative by helping to pack 500 gifts for preschool children.

We sincerely thank Preeti V. Shah for her continued support for Ukraine and for the trust she places in our project!
