XChange Talk #3: Anti-Muslim Racism

The XChange Düsseldorf project held its third panel discussion on February 26, 2025, focusing on the topic of “Anti-Muslim Racism.” Numerous residents of Düsseldorf gathered at the city’s Central Library.

Participants of the XChange project shared their experiences as individuals affected by anti-Muslim racism, spoke about their emotions, and presented strategies they have developed to cope with these challenges. In dialogue with the audience, potential approaches to combating racism were jointly discussed. Both the affected individuals on the panel and the audience members emphasized the importance of greater solidarity.

The audience was made up of people from diverse backgrounds, including educators, representatives of nonprofit organizations, psychologists, and university staff. These varied perspectives made it possible to develop a range of solutions and examine the issue from different angles.
