PreventEx at Two Professional Conferences on Radicalization and Anti-Muslim Racism

July began with two inspiring professional events for the PreventEx team. On June 30, we attended the conference “Understanding Radicalization in the Age of AI and Social Media” in Oberhausen. Following an introductory keynote, the program focused on professional exchange and interactive discussions. A series of workshops provided participants with the opportunity to explore current challenges and practical approaches in greater depth.

The following day, we took part in the conference “Anti-Muslim Racism as a Challenge for Democracy” in Essen. The event highlighted the latest findings of the National Discrimination and Racism Monitor (NaDiRa) and featured a panel discussion with experts from academia and practice on the social dimensions of anti-Muslim racism and possible responses.

Both events provided valuable insights for our work. We sincerely thank the organizers for two well-organized and inspiring conferences and look forward to applying the knowledge gained in our future projects.
